(KNSI) - The St. Cloud Cathedral Crusaders lost to the Mahtomedi Zephyrs 4-2 on Saturday.

Mahtomedi's Tom Paradise scored early and got the Zephyrs up to an early 1-0 lead.

Cathedral's offense was not able to answer, and they trailed 1-0 going into the first intermission.

Early in the second period, Cathedral's Mack Motzko tied the game up 1-1.

Mahtomedi scored two unanswered goals in the second period, and carried a 3-1 lead going into the second intermission.

In the third period, Cathedral struggled to get any scoring opportunities.

With 5 minutes left in the game, Mack Motzko scored his second goal of the day to cut Mahtomedi's lead to 1.

Cathedral had the chance to tie up the game on a late power play, but instead Mahtomedi scored a short handed goal to put them up 4-2.

Cathedral couldn't bounce back, and Mahtomedi defeated Cathedral 4-2.

Mack Motzko had the 2 goals for Cathedral and was selected as the All Star Trophy and Awards player of the game.

Joe Paradise and Tom Paradise each had 1 goal for Mahtomedi.

Highlight: Mack Motzko's 3rd period goal to get Cathedral back in the game.
