(KNSI) - As if having one of the best names was not enough to highlight this Sauk Rapids-Rice Senior, the fact that he just tallied his 100th point for his hockey team will definitely do the trick.

Dodge currently leads the Storm with 18 goals and 18 assists to equal 36 points on the year; he now has 103 points in his impressive high school career.

After scoring two goals and one assist against Northern Lakes, Dodge was named the Central Lake Conference Performer of the Week for boys hockey.

After his final high school hockey season, Dodge plans to play for the Granite City Lumberjacks.

The captain then will play for the Kenai Brown Bears of the NAHL next season.

Although Dodge's stats are quite impressive, it's his fervor that pleases head coach Ken Karna the most.

"[Daymin] has a passion for the game that is second to none; no matter what the drill is, he is giving one-hundred-percent and pushing those around him to be better."

Regardless of how Dodge and the Storm finish out the season, Karna will be keeping close tabs on the standout.

"It has been a pleasure to coach him for the past three years and I am excited to see where his career leads."

The Storm host Little Falls Friday, February 8th at 7:15; that game will be played at Sauk Rapids Arena East.

Congratulations, Daymin and good luck to you and the Storm Hockey Team the rest of the season and beyond!
