ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) – The St. Cloud Tech Tigers are in the midst of an 11-2 season, and have won their last 8 games in a row. Leading the way is senior Andy Foley. And last week, to go along with another win for his team, he knocked down some individual mile-stones. For that momentous week Foley is the All-Star Trophy and Award Player of the Week.
With 18 points in a Friday night win over Alexandria, Foley now has 1,507 for his career. That is the 2nd most all time at St. Cloud Tech. His performance last week elevated him past Alex Hanks on the scoring chart, with the NBA's Nate Wolters the only man with more.
Aside from scoring, Foley is also just 2nd to Wolters now in distributing the basketball. He is now number two in assists all time for the Tigers.
Throughout the season his head coach Mike Trewick has always called it a huge boon to be able to rely on Foley, a 30 point scorer waiting to happen each night. Suffice it to say when the Tigers need Andy Foley, Andy Foley shows up. And now, the name Andy Foley will continue to show up in the Tech record books for years to come as well.
