Player of the Week: Foley RB Luke Kelvington

Foley RB Luke Kelvington

FOLEY, Minn. (MSC) - Week in week out Foley running back Luke Kelvington is proving himself a force to be reckoned with in the Granite Ridge Conference. For his efforts this past weekend against Zimmerman, he earns All-Star Trophy and Award player of the week honors.

In a 53-35 victory over Zimmerman, Kelvington was the epitome of the phrase "bell cow back" with 33 carries on the night. The senior tailback tallied 230 yards and scored five touchdowns on the ground. If that was not enough, Kelvington also racked up 58 more yards of receiving, and caught a touchdown pass.

All of that shook out to 288 all purpose yards for Kelvington, six touchdowns, and an easy nod as the All-Star Trophy and Awards player of the week.
