Player of the Week: Noel Teigen

For the Week Of Oct 22, 2012

Noel Teigen

Apollo is on fire, and Wide Receiver Noel Teigen is a big reason. In the Eagles third straight win, a 27-20 victory over first place Fergus Falls, Teigen was a force in every facet of the game. On defense Teigen had two interceptions and played a key role in limiting the Fergus Falls passing attack to 43 yards through the air. When the Eagles had the ball, Teigen was the target of choice for Quarterback Ben Alvord, catching two passes, one of which was a 46 yard touchdown pass to give the Eagles a 12-0 lead.

But Special teams is where Teigen made his biggest impact. He had a 87 yard and 74 yard kick return for touchdowns. In total, that would be 3 touchdowns and two interceptions for the Noel Teigen, and more importantly, three straight wins for the Apollo Eagles.

Congratulations Noel Teigen on being the All Star Trophy and Awards Player of the Week!
