ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) – Jeff Fasching did his best to upstage his Dad last Friday night. As his father Gary did his best to fill the shoes of former St. John’s coaching legend John Gagliardi, Jeff added an award to the family mantle.
Fasching is this week’s All-Star Trophy and Award’s player of the week.
As the Crusaders picked up their first win of the season, easily taking care of Mora 42-12, Fasching did his work through the air and the ground. He finished the game with an efficient 15 of 20 for 300 yards and four touchdowns. He also added another score on the ground as he had eight carries for 26 yards.
Crusader fans are hoping that Fasching will again have a strong performance next week as he leads them against rival Albany in a Metro Sports Commission game that will be heard on 1180AM, pregame starting around 7:30 Friday night.
Check back later in the week for a full Metro Sports Commission schedule on KNSIRadio.com.
