Icebreakers Goalie Allie Rosenkrans

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) - Allowing two goals in a full game is a great start from a goaltender. Allowing two goals in a four overtime thriller is how you win Metro Sports Commission All-Star Trophy and Award Player of the Week.

St. Cloud Tech Icebreakers Allie Rosenkrans was between the pipes for the 3-2 win over North Wright County in the 8 2A sectional quarterfinals that took four overtimes. The junior netminder had 40 saves in getting the win. Icebreakers move onto the next round where they will take on Roseau on the road Tuesday night at 6pm.

KNSIRadio.com and the Metro Sports Commission are your home for the best coverage of high school sports in Central Minnesota. Each week the MSC selects an outstanding player from the prior week's coverage to name as the All Star Trophy and Awards Player of the Week.
