Tech miscues cost them in first loss

Oct 3, 2011 at 11:41 am

St. Cloud Tech had key turnovers and miscues in the kicking game that led to thier first loss of the season.

Brainerd knocked off the Tigers 28-13 in front of a big crowd at Clark Field. A fumble inside thier own 20 led to a Warrior score and a botched snap on a punt that was recovered in the endzone gave Brainerd another touchdown. That was enough to drop the Tigers to 4-1 overall on the season.

Jacob Peterson did rush for over 100 yards for Tech to lead the offense.

Tech will host Moorhead next at Clark Field on Friday, October 7th, 2011.

Note live coverage shifts to 1010am WMIN due to SCSU hockey on KNSI. Charter pregame begins at 6:45pm.
