UPDATE: Jason Kobley left KNSI Radio in August of 2012 for a new position in California.
Jason Kobely joined Leighton Broadcasting as News Director in 2010. After growing up in Davis, California and graduating from UC Davis, Jason has worked in radio, TV and print journalism during his two decades in news.
Jason was an anchor/reporter/editor at Newstalk 1530 KFBK in Sacramento, CA, earning a prestigous Edward R. Murrow award and two Associated Press awards. Jason also worked as a director at KTXL Fox 40 and as a producer and supervising web producer at KXTV News10, both in Sacramento.
Jason is also a freelance writer, contributing pieces published in a dozen different publications, including the Sacramento Bee, Parenting Magazine and Comstock's Magazine.
