(KNSI) – The St. Cloud Rox Project S.A.V.E. Foundation and Miller Buick GMC, Wells, CLA, and NAPA Central donated $16,000 in scholarships to help local high school graduates go to college.

They were recognized during a special on-field ceremony during Wednesday’s game. Each kid was given $1,000.

The Rox Foundation received scholarship applications from 39 central Minnesota cities in 32 high schools. Voting for the awards was conducted by various business leaders across the region.

The Rox Project S.A.V.E. Foundation’s Class of 2023 recipients included:

Gavin Miller, Maple Lake High School (Maple Lake)
Madison Nefs, St. Cloud Technical High School (St. Cloud)
Jasmine Oliver, Sauk Rapids-Rice High School (Sauk Rapids)
Alivia Orbeck, Albany Area High School (Albany)
MaKayla Pearson, Sartell High School (Sartell)
Katherine Ruhland, Eden Valley-Watkins High (Eden Valley)
Mari Ryberg, Bold High School (Olivia)
Grant Stoltman, Elk River High School (Elk River)
Luke Van Erp, Rocori High School (Cold Spring)
Samuel Warren, Becker High School (Becker)

The Rox Foundation has donated 37 scholarships over five years, totaling $53,000 as part of its programs.
