ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) - A high school yearbook in Minnesota contains a death threat to President Donald Trump.
In Brainerd High School's 2016-17 yearbook, a page was dedicated to President Trump, with students sharing their thoughts on the president.
One comment from a sophomore student read "I would like to behead him. I do not like him."
Not surpisingly, the comment is being shared on social media and is going viral.
Brainerd Public Schools released a statement on the incident saying it was unaware of the students' statement in the yearbook, and while it supports free speech, the disrespectul statements in the yearbook are contrary to the district's educational mission and should not have been included in a school sponsored publication.
The statement says the district is investigating how the statement got into the yearbook and is reviewing procedures to ensure it doesn't happen again.
