ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) - The storms that ravaged Minnesota last night has left many in Central Minnesota without power.

Many lines at Xcel Energy ring busy as a flood of residents call to report outages, but there is a different way to reach the company. @XcelEnergyMN is the twitter handle and they have been fielding requests all morning long. They have also tweeted out a link to a coverage map that shows reported outages, and gives estimates of power restoration.

According to Xcel, 120-thousand Minnesota residents find themselves lacking power.

We will keep you updated on the damages and possible further storms Friday night.
