ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) - The State Patrol was investigating a wrong way driver that caused crashes on both sides of I-94 through St. Cloud Monday afternoon.
The crashes happened just before 4 p.m. on 94 near Stearns County Road 7 on either side of the St. Augusta bridge, the State Patrol reported.
The driver caused a crash in the westbound lanes of 94 near McStop before veering into the eastbound lanes.
At least three vehicles were involved and at least three injuries were reported. The extent of those injuries was not immediately clear.
Both directions of 94 were closed down to one lane of through traffic while patrol officers collected evidence on the scene. The Patrol expected to have other lanes of the the roadway reopened by 7 p.m.
