ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) - A St. Cloud man was arrested and faced domestic violence charges after he allegedly choked and bit his live-in girlfriend, according to a St. Cloud police spokesman. 

Police arrived at a home on the 800 block of Driftwood Drive around 12:10 a.m. Thursday following reports of a suicidal woman, a police report stated.

 

However, the 19-year-old victim told officers she was not suicidal and had been choked and bitten by her boyfriend. She did not require medial attention for her injuries.

 

Lonnie David Majerus, 32, was arrested and booked into the Stearns County Jail. Majerus faced possible charges including felony domestic assault by strangulation and misdemeanor domestic assault.
