Wolters, Jacks take on Gophers

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (KNSI) St. Cloud Tech graduate Nate Wolters leads the South Dakota State University men's basketball team into Williams Arena tonight for a non-conference matchup against the Minnesota Gophers.

Wolters is averaging 20.8 points, 5.9 rebounds and 6.1 assists per game for the Jackrabitts. The 6-4 senior entered the season as SDSU's fourth all-time leading scorer with 1,628 points.

SDSU is 6-2 on the season, with a pair of three point losses to Alabama and Hofstra.

Minnesota is 8-1 on the season, and is ranked 14th in the latest Associated Press top 25 poll. The Gophers only loss on the season is to second-ranked Duke.

Tip off is 7 pm tonight.
