ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) The National Weather Service has posted a Wind Advisory for the St. Cloud area from 4:00 am until 10:00 pm Thursday.
A cold front moving through the region will bring an increase in winds, and a dramatic drop in temperatures. Northwest winds will be sustained at around 30 miles per hour, with gusts to 45 miles per hour. That could cause problems for people driving high-profile vehicles on east-west roads.
High temperatures Thursday are expected to cool into the mid 40's. Highs are expected to remain in the 40's Friday and Saturday.
A Winter Storm Watch has been issued for northern Minnesota, where six inches or more of snow could fall.
