GREY EAGLE, Minn. (KNSI) The Todd County Sheriff's Office says a vehicle was stolen over the weekend while it was being warmed up by its owner.

It happened Saturday afternoon, around 4:20 pm, as the vehicle was parked next to the Junction Gas Station in Grey Eagle.

The vehicle was last seen headed south on Minnesota Highway 28 toward Ward Springs.

About 20 minutes later, the sheriff's office received a report of a rollover accident south of Grey Eagle on Highway 28 and County Road 2.

The vehicle involved in that crash was the same one reported stolen just minutes earlier. The driver was gone by the time deputies got there.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to call the Todd County Sheriff's Office.
