FOLEY, Minn. (KNSI) - A man accused of abducting a store employee and forcing them to drive him to the Twin Cities has been named and taken into custody.
The Foley Police Department tells KNSI News that suspect is Brandon Stark age and residence unknown. Stark was picked up by officers from the Minneapolis Police Department on Thursday night and taken to the Henneepin County Medical Center for minor injuries.
The incident in question took place just before 3 a.m on Tuesday morning, when Stark is alleged to have forced the employee out of the store and into their own vehicle in the parking lot.
The employee then drove the suspect to the metro area, and returned unharmed on Tuesday morning around 7 a.m.
At that time, Foley interim Police Chief Katie Lang declined to comment regarding if or what kind of weapon was used to force the employee from the store.
As for Stark, he's awaiting charges in the Hennepin County Jail.
