ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) The United Way of Central Minnesota is holding is Day of Caring Thursday.
Marketing and Communications Manager Jessica Johnson says more than 350 volunteers will be working on more than 50 projects in the St. Cloud area.
Johnson says the projects involve everything from gardening and yard work to painting and storm drain marking.
The day starts with a breakfoast at the Whitney Senior Center from 7:30 to 8:30 am. All volunteers receive a free box lunch and a free t-shirt.
Johnson says the United Way has a "deep passion for volunteerism," and the Day of Caring is a good fit for that mission.
