ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) - In the wake of the resignation of their CEO, the United Way of Central Minnesota has tapped two of its leaders to co-run the organization during the hiring process.

The organization's board of directors has announced that Kathy Zenzen and Betty Schnettler have accepted the positions of interim co-directors during the transition period.

Zenzen currently serves as the Vice President of Operations and Resources, while Schnettler is the Vice President of Community Impact.

The board has recently formed a CEO search committee to replace recently-resigned Patrick Powell, which is made up of members Tom Rickers, Pat Edeburn, Jennifer Mrozek and Greg Vandal.

The search committee also plans to add additional community members to serve on the committee.

They plan to begin the search process as soon as possible.
