ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) - The rash of burglaries continued in St. Cloud and the surrounding area as police responded to two separate calls this weekend.

St. Cloud Police were dispatched to the 700 block of 7th Avenue South Saturday to respond to a report of a theft of a Playstation 3 and a bottle of alcohol.

Someone entered the house through an unlocked front door and left with the goods sometime after 3 a.m. while the victim and his roommates were sleeping, a police spokesman said.

Meanwhile, Stearns County Sheriff's deputies responded to a report of a residential burglary at 6579 Dellwood Road in Maine Prairie Township on Sunday.

The homeowner, Thomas Rosenow, returned home to find damage to his front door. Rosenow had only been gone from the residence for approximately two hours. According to reports, personal property, including jewelry and cash, were taken from the home.

Anyone with information was asked to call the St. Cloud Police Department or the Stearns County Sheriff's Office.
