ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) Two cities in our area have new police chiefs.

Joel Klein gets that job in St. Joseph, where he's currently a patrol officer. Klein will replace Pete Jansky, who is retiring in August.

Klein had earlier applied to become the police chief in Albany and was offered the job--but turned it down.

That job will go to Osvaldo Carbajal. Carbajal is an Army veteran and current police chief in Belgrade. He's expected to take over as police chief in Albany on May 6th.
