ELK RIVER, Minn. (KNSI) - A man and woman are behind bars after authorities found multiple kinds of drugs, along with a gun, in a Blue Hill Township home.
According to the Sherburne County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a dog-at-large complaint involving a residence on the 14000 block of 284th Avenue NW on Tuesday.
While at the residence, a deputy noted a smell of drugs and noticed drug paraphernalia.
The Sherburne County Drug Task Force was called to the scene, and search warrants were received for both the home and a detatched garage.
During the search, officials found marijuana and methamphetamine, as well as a loaded handgun.
Arrested were 27 year-old Tanya Wagner of Zimmerman, and 30 yeaar-old Kyle Paine of Coon Rapids. Paine was also arrested on an outstanding Anoka County warrant.
Both were arrested without incident and taken to the Sherburne County Jail.
The Minnesota State Patrol assisted with the case.
