Two arrested following domestic assault

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) St. Cloud police arrested two women after being called to a domestic assault complaint.

Sergeant Jason Burke says officers were dispatched to the 300-block of Laudenbach Court just after eight o'clock Saturday night. That's where 23 year-old Akesha Hall and 24 year-old Katie Bennett got into a fight.

Bennett threw a glass object at Hall striking her above an eye. That caused an injury that required multiple stitches.

Hall was arrested at the scene for violating a protection order between herself and Bennett.

Bennett was located by officers in the downtown area early Sunday morning and arrested. She faces charges of second degree assault and domestic assault.
