ST. JOSEPH, Minn.  (KNSI)  A truck driver died Wednesday after he drove off a Stearns County road and into a field. Sheriff John Sanner says the accident was reported around 7 am in on County Road 2 just north of 260th Street in St. Joseph Township. The trucker left the road and drove into a plowed field. A Cold Spring police officer and an eyewitness were able to get the man out of the truck, but he was pronounced dead after being taken to St. Cloud Hospital. He was 68 years old, and from Gonvick in the northwest corner of the state. His name is being withheld, pending notification of relatives.
