GREY EAGLE, Minn. (KNSI) A pickup truck crashed through the ice on a Todd County lake over the weekend.
The sheriff's office says Roger Kirchner of Sartell was driving on Big Birch Lake Saturday afternoon when the front end of the pickup went through the ice and into 4 to 5 feet of water.
Kirchner was alone in the pickup and was able to get out safely.
A towing company from Long Prairie was called to the scene and pulled the truck out of the water.
