FERGUS FALLS, Minn. (AP) — A Fergus Falls treatment center for youth is closing its doors in Fergus Falls.
Catholic Charities started a program for troubled youth in 1989 on the grounds of a former state hospital. The program later moved to a new building.
Executive Director Steve Bresnahan says that Catholic Charities has had difficulty attracting and retaining employees for the facility. The children in the Fergus Falls intensive treatment unit will be transferred to other treatment facilities.
