MOTLEY, Minn. (KNSI) - Authorities nabbed nearly 118 grams of methamphetamine during a traffic stop on Monday.

A Morrison County Sheriff’s Office report says that, during a routine patrol, a Morrison County deputy spotted a minor equipment violation on a vehicle driven by 55-year-old Anthony Zimmerman of Bemidji.

The deputy pulled Zimmerman over and observed Zimmerman was either under the influence or in possession of drugs.

A search of the vehicle revealed 118 grams of methamphetamine. Officials estimate the street value to be over $16,000.

Zimmerman was taken to the Morrison County Jail, where he is being held pending formal charges.
