MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (AP) The Minnesota State Patrol has confirmed that 3 people have died in a multivehicle crash on Interstate 94 in Minneapolis.
Lt. Eric Roeske said on Twitter that 3 people died and others were injured in the crash that happened at 49th Avenue. The State Patrol closed a portion of the interstate on Sunday as it tried to reconstruct how the accident happened.
The three-vehicle crash happened shortly after 1 p.m.
Few details were available Sunday, but the State Patrol was on the scene and said it would release more information as it became available.
Authorities planned to release details about the victims on Monday morning.
