MELROSE, Minn. (KNSI) Three people were injured in a rollover crash on Stearns County Road 12 and Merlin Road in Spring Hill Township.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Office received a call just after 2:30 Monday morning on a report of a vehicle in the ditch at that location.

The motorist said after checking the vehicle, it was on its roof and the occupants were trapped inside and yelling for help.

The three occupants were extricated and taken to the Melrose Hospital by ambulance. One of the occupants was later airlifted to St. Cloud Hospital.

The occupants are identified as 19 year-old Desiree Ruprecht of Cold Spring, 20 year-old Lindsay Spanier of Sartell and 21 year-old Trevor Spanier of Paynesville. 

The sheriff's office, Melrose and St. Martin Fire Departments and Melrose Ambulance responded to the crash.
