ST. CLOUD (KNSI) - Right on the heels of yesterday's big announcement of direct flights between Orlando, FL and St. Cloud starting in December, Allegiant Air and the Greater St. Cloud Development Corporation say a third weekly flight will be added to the existing Phoenix/Mesa lineup.
The third flight will begin February 12, 2014.
No word yet on which day of the week the flights will be scheduled.
The airline says the move was made due to the success of current flights between the two cities.
The Greater St. Cloud Development Corporation, who have worked closely with city and airport officials to entice air carriers, says the addition of extra flights and destinations is instrumental in helping the airport reach it's ultimate goal - twice-daily flights between St. Cloud and Chicago - at some point next year.
