ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) - A teenager who went missing in St. Cloud disappeared on her own.
Police say the investigation around the disappearance of 17-year-old Aaliyah Kazimer shows there is nothing criminal in connection to the missing person case.
The Annandale teen, who had been missing since Saturday, was staying with a man in a house in the City of St. Cloud, according to police.
Police say that neither Aaliyah or the man knew there was a large-scale search for her.
Investigators say Aaliyah could have contacted family and friends at any time but did not.
Officials say she intentionally left her keys, wallet, and phone in her vehicle that was recovered at the park.
From the start police had legitimate concerns about Aaliyah's welfare from the abandoned car to a bloodhound tracking her scent to the edge of the Mississippi River.
She was found Wednesday afternoon in Munsinger Gardens and borrowed a cell phone to call her aunt.
Dozens of police, family, friends and volunteers spent four days searching around Riverside Park for the missing girl.
