CHATHAM TOWNSHIP, Minn. (KNSI) - A 16 year-old Maple Lake girl is dead and another person injured after a multi-car crash.

The Wright County Sheriff's Office says the crash happened on Tuesday just after 5:30 p.m. on County Road 35 in Chatham Township.

They report that Emma Rodelius was driving north on Dempsey Avenue when she pulled out and collided with an eastbound dump truck, driven by 56 year-old Scott Quady of Sandstone.

After the first crash, Rodelius' vehicle collided with another car, driven by 49 year-old Kenneth Hartneck of Howard Lake.

Rodelius was pronounced dead at the scene. Hartneck was taken to Allina Hospital in Buffalo, and Quade was reportedly uninjured.

The crash is being actively investigated by the State Patrol and the Wright County Sheriff's Office.
