RANDALL, Minn. (KNSI) A teenager died Saturday, just two days after being involved in a two vehicle crash in the city of Randall.

Police Chief Charles Strack says 17 year-old Charles Mellema was northbound on Superior Avenue in Randall and failed to stop at a stop sign when he collided with a westbound car driven by 54 year-old Helen Pfeffer.

Both vehicles went into the ditch with a power pole laying on top of one of them.

Mellema was taken to St. Gabriel's Hospital and then airlifted to St. Cloud Hospital. He died on Saturday.
