HOLDINGFORD, MN (KNSI) – There were no injuries, save for the pride of a Stearns County teenager, after a young woman mixed up her accelerator and break, sending her vehicle careening into a convenience store.

Deputies say 18-year-old Chelsea Gerads of Albany pulled into the parking lot of the Holdingford Gas and Grocery just after 9:30 Tuesday morning.  When her foot went down for the brake, it actually came down on that accelerator and as a result her 2003 Chevy Impala smashed right into the side of the building.

The building sustained significant damage to a wall, and both restrooms on the other side got a serious rearranging, but no one was inside at the time making this just a common case of mistaken pedal identity.
