WEST ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Hundreds of customers were kept inside a Target store in West St. Paul as officers searched for a man who robbed the pharmacy.

The store was locked down for about 20 minutes Thursday night.

Police received a report of the robbery at the SuperTarget shortly after 6 p.m. Officers, sheriff's deputies and state troopers set up a perimeter around the store and searched for the man, but were unsuccessful.

The Pioneer Press reports West St. Paul police declined to say whether the gunman received any drugs or money from the pharmacy's employees.
