ST. CLOUD (KNSI) - Police say they now have a suspect related to a sexual assault against a woman in downtown St. Cloud last September.

SCPD Lt. Jeff Oxton says a warrant has been issued for the arrest of 24 year-old Xavier Lamar Phillips-Freeman on charges of 1st degree Criminal Sexual Conduct.

On September 26, 2013, police say a 33 year-old woman was walking through downtown when she was approached by an unknown man a little after 11pm. 

The man allegedly referenced that he was carrying a gun, but did not pull it.

He then reportedly brought her to a secluded area where he assaulted her. 

Phillips-Freeman is described as being approximately 5’8” tall, weighing 180 lbs.
