LITTLE FALLS, MN (KNSI) - A Little Falls man has now been charged in a drug overdose death in Morrison County last month.
Fourty four year-old Warren Okerman made his first court appearance Wednesday on a charge of third-degree murder. Judge Douglas Anderson set his unconditional bail at $150,000 or $75,000 with conditions.
Okerman is accused of supplying methamphetamine to 41 year-old Leslie Peterson who died June first. An autopsy showed Peterson died of a meth overdose. Okerman admitted supplying Peterson with the drug when he was questioned by investigators.
If convicted, Okerman faces up to 25 years in prison, and up to 40-thousand dollars in fines.
