ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) The results of a student body vote on fees on the St. Cloud State campus won't be known until next week.
Students voted earlier this week via e-mail on whether to extend student fees passed in 2010 that are used to help fund the athletics department budget. The fee amounts to $1.74 per credit, and is due to expire in June.
Following a student government meeting Thursday, it was announced that the results of the vote would be released following a "professional investigation", but what triggered the investigation has not been announced.
SCSU Athletics Director Heather Weems says money generated from the fees help the Huskies maintain competitiveness in sports across the board.
