Student assaulted at knifepoint

MANKATO, Minn. (KNSI) A Minnesota State, Mankato, student is in custody following an armed assault at the university's library.
Authorities say a male student was grabbed from behind at knifepoint in a bathroom Wednesday night, but was able to escape.
City spokeswoman Shelly Schulz says when police officers arrived they found other students had detained the 19-year-old assailant.
The victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
