St. Cloud, Minn. (KNSI) The National Weather Service says the threat of severe weather exists from late this afternoon into tonight over central and western Minnesota.
The primary threat will be large hail and damaging winds along with a secondary threat of isolated tornadoes. The tornado hazard will be confined to mainly along and north of Interstate 94, while the threat of overall severe weather will be along and west of Interstate 35. The best timing for severe weather will be after 7pm and lasting through the early morning hours. Thunderstorms will continue Wednesday morning, with a slight risk for severe weather, although the threat will be nearly gone by then.
