MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - A 3-year-old boy has life threatening injuries after a stray bullet struck him in the head inside a Minneapolis house.
Sgt. Steve McCarty says the bullet came from outside at about 6:50 p.m. Monday, but there was no evidence that people inside had been targeted.
McCarty said Tuesday that the toddler is in critical condition and no suspects are in custody.
The Star Tribune reports the last time a child died after being struck by a stray bullet was in 2002.
