Stearns County to auction off seized property Saturday

WAITE PARK, Minn. (KNSI) - If you're looking for a deal, Stearns County may be able to help you out Saturday at the county's seized property auction.

Dozens of items will be up for auction. Yard equipment, sporting goods, tons of tools, guns and scopes, jewelry and household items are all for sale. People can get their hands on a John Deere skid loader, John Deere tractor with mower & bagger, a tiller and an aerator. Also on the auction block are an ATV, golf cart, jet ski and trailer, TV, washer & dryer, log bedroom set, living room and kitchen furniture, and lots more.

The items were all seized by the sheriff's department during arrests.

Doors open so potential customers can inspect those goods at the Stearns County Highway Department at 455 28th Avenue in Waite Park at 9 a.m. Saturday. The office is three blocks south of Mills Fleet Farm in Waite Park.

The county has a complete list of items and rules for purchases posted on the Stearns County website.
