ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) This rainfall could cause some isolated local flooding issues in Stearns County in low lying areas, on certain roadways and in lakes and rivers.

The National Weather Service indicates that both the Sauk River and Mississippi River could rise to the "action stage" which is the water level immediately preceding flood stage.

Stearns County Emergency Management has also received a few reports of trees that have fallen due to high winds and the saturated ground.

Residents are reminded to be aware of their surroundings, and remember it is never safe to walk or drive through flood waters.
