(Minneapolis, MN) -- Free tickets will be available for the public for Tuesday's groundbreaking for the new Minnesota Vikings stadium.
They will be handed out on a first-come, first-served basis at the Metrodome next Tuesday starting at 9 a.m.
The groundbreaking will happen at 10 a.m., with speeches from Governor Dayton, Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak and the Vikings owners Zygi and Mark Wilf.
The nearly one-billion dollar stadium will replace the Metrodome and be built on the current site.
