MINNEAPOLIS, Minn (KNSI) University of Minnesota officials say the first game with alcohol sales at TCF Bank Stadium went smoothly.
School spokesman Chuck Tombarge says extra security staff effectively isolated the area where alcohol was sold Saturday.
Vendors stopped beer sales after halftime, as planned.
Tombarge didn't have a number for incidents, but says they were lower than usual. He says wait times were around six to 12 minutes.
Around 47,000 people watched Minnesota beat New Hampshire 44-7, the most points the Gophers have scored in a game in five years.
