ST. JOSEPH, MN KNSI) - A home in St. Joseph Township sustained heavy fire damage over the weekend. The fire on 270th Street was reported just before 5 pm Saturday.
Flames were coming from the roof when St. Joseph firefighters arrived on the scene. Fire Chief Jeff Taufen says the roof of the brick home was destroyed, and contents were heavily damaged by smoke and water.
There were no injuries.
Firefighters from St. Joseph, Cold Spring and Rockville fought the fire for about three hours. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
