ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) St. Cloud police arrested a woman on second-degree assault charges after an incident involving a knife.

Officers were called to an apartment in the 17-hundred block of University Drive Southeast. That's where 21 year-old Kirsten Gould of St. Cloud was arguing with a 27 year-old St. Cloud man.

As the argument escalated, Gould pulled a knife out of her pocket and held it toward the victim.

The victim suffered a cut to his hand as he was trying to wrestle the knife away.

Gould was taken to the Sherburne County Jail. The victim received medical treatment at St. Cloud Hospital.
