ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) It looks like this month will go down as the second-driest September in recorded history in St. Cloud.

Less than a quarter inch of rain has fallen at St. Cloud Regional Airport this month--.24 of an inch to be exact.

The only September that was drier in St. Cloud was in 1952--when just .07 of an inch of rain fell.

It's been a dry month all across the upper midwest. Minneapolis-St. Paul, Duluth, Fargo and International Falls have all received less than an inch of rain this month, and forecaster Dan Luna at the National Weather Service Office in Chanhassenn there's little chance of rain in the forecast through late next week.
