St. Cloud police seek witnesses to a possible Jimmy John's attack

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) – St. Cloud police are looking for anyone who may have witnessed a possible attack at the Jimmy John's sandwich location in St. Cloud.

Just after 2 a.m. Friday, St. Cloud Police were informed of a medical emergency inside Jimmy Johns at 5th Avenue South in St. Cloud. Investigation revealed that a 23 year old man from Sauk Rapids had received severe lacerations to his head and ear.

The victim was transported to St. Cloud Hospital.

At the time of the injury, there were between 20 and 30 other people inside the Jimmy Johns. Investigators are trying to determine whether the injuries were a result of an assault or an accident.
